Part 8: Collins, Fauci, Hotez, & the Chinese
Prior to and following September 11th, 2001, Dr. Anthony Fauci was instrumental in recognizing the need for vaccines if an act of bioterrorism occurred. It was shortly after the 9-11 attack that anthrax was circulated to members of Congress through the mail.
Dr. Fauci was in New York City during the September 11 attack attending a meeting there. He caught a train out of the City with the intention to develop a plan to counteract the terrorist threat if a bioweapon was released. According to his statements in the NIH oral history of 2002, meetings were held with the Department of Defense, the CDC, Tommy Thompson, HHS Secretary, and members of NIAID.
His team had prior to 9-11 been working on a smallpox and anthrax vaccine due to rumors of adversaries engineering them for bioweapon use.
Admittedly in his statement, is the presentation of the vaccinia virus that would be used in an ankara modified form because it had already been in use in a vectored version for an AIDS vaccine and cancer treatments targeting tumor antigens.
Fast forward to 2020, and the emergence of covid-19. We see Dr. Fauci as the face of the Director of Public Health at the onset of reports and recommendations. What would soon seem like half truths or a cover-up, would be solidified by numerous false statements that he would make publicly and under oath.
After Zerohedge published an article that claimed HIV was the furin cleavage site of an engineered, not wild-type virus, and an article that was later redacted in BioRx, that it appeared there were amino acid residues of gp120 HIV 1 at the furin cleavage site was eerily similar to that of covid. After that discovery, things started to heat up and the actions taken by Dr. Fauci began to seem suspect to some.
The Waybackmachine has several windows of insight into how Dr. Fauci’s role and influence have gone from sparse commentary on Wikipedia in January 2020 to July 2020, up until the present time. The July archive mentions his height of 5’7” tall, and his wife and family. January mentions his Grandparents who immigrated from Italy. The current Wiki mentions that he attended a Jesuit High School and was raised Catholic, but is now known to be a Humanist. Humanists are modeled after the DaVinci Vitruvian man, according to Wiki’s thumbnail. He was named Humanist of the Year by American Humanist Association, whose motto is “Good without God”. Maybe it’s a coincidence that what appears to be his face in egg wash tempura painted in the portico of Davinci’s Last Supper in Milan, Italy is no coincidence at all.
He chooses to stay out of organized religion because they seem to him to be unfortunate. But, he seems to use them as accolades when he is garnering support from the righteous. This godless man, Dr. Fauci, seems to have an anti-christ spirit in the way that he has spoken of himself as Science, and seeks praise everywhere. Maybe he’s trying to make his own religion since he doesn’t consider God.
Yet, during President Trump’s post-election press conference with Alex Azar, he and Francis Collins are over at the D.C. Episcopal Church having their own briefing about covid televised on C-Span talking about their excitement to work with the new administration in regards to covid.
It’s also of note that the reason he wasn’t chosen to accept the NIH Director position by George W. Bush was due to his stance on abortion being unclear, and he had been known to view the research with aborted fetuses as scientifically significant.
He hadn’t met President Trump until 3 years into his presidency. Open the Books recovered a letter addressing the significant pay raise Dr. Fauci was recommended for due to his work in biodefense, AIDS, and other things. During the absence of an HHS Director following a scandal, Dr. Francis Collins resumed halted gain of function research using an HHS P3CO Framework recommendation as rationale and an alibi.
The era of terrorist attacks following 9-11 set into motion, through the collaborative meetings of Dr. Fauci, DOD, CDC, and the Army, a government sponsored biodefense program initiative that was carried out by Peter Hotez of Baylor College Medicine in Houston, TX, and funded by grants from Dr. Fauci’s NIAID. Beginning in 2012, the MERS/SARS outbreaks in the Middle East spawned an increasing need to create a vaccine for biodefense.
Peter Hotez claimed he had a lead candidate vaccine antigen , based on a patent that was developed by New York Blood Center, part of the same group appointed to him for biodefense collaboration. Peter Hotez’s work documents on Patent # 11103575 are described in a ResearchGate article from December 2013. The patent lists NY Blood Center, Chinese Scientists, University of Texas, Galveston, TX, and University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, MN, containing S377-588-Fc protein being used to inhibit the binding of MERS. The S377-588-Fc sequence is an Immunoglobulin G antibody known as an IgG Fc fragment.

The work that Peter Hotez was doing at Baylor continued from 2012-2017 seemingly uninterrupted, but by his claim, after accepting $5 million+ in NIAID grants, the money dried up and no vaccine was found due to financial disinterest. Documents prove that the virus he was working on was made and used a patent that was filed in November 17, 2017, but the work that was done was cited in the ResearchGate article as being done in 2013, but it wasn’t published until August 31, 2021. Peter Hotez’s group listed in the 2012 grant consisted of:
Baylor College Medicine, the new home of Sabin Vaccine Institute's product development partnership (BCM-Sabin), the New York Blood Center (NYBC) and the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB), and in partnership with industrial partners and non-profit organizations.
These assays and procedures will serve the basis for formal lot release and stability evaluation post-manufacturing. (3) Technology transfer, cGMP Manufacture, GLP toxicology and IND Preparation. The cell bank production, production processes and the formulation technology for the rRBD-based SARS vaccine will be transferred to Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR) pilot facility for 60-L scale GMP manufacture, formulation and fill and finish. The clinical lots will be released by Sabin- Texas and following a pre-IND meeting with the U.S. FDA, GLP toxicology will be initiated at Frontier Biosciences, a Maryland-based contractor. PUBLIC HEALTH RELEVANCE: SARS-CoV is the first new human infectious disease agent of this century classified by NIAID as a Category C Priority Pathogen, and SARS outbreaks still remain a serious global concern mainly due to possible zoonotic reintroduction of SARS-CoV into humans or accidental release from a laboratory or deliberate spreading of the virus by a bioterrorist. We have identified a highly promising lead candidate vaccine antigen, the receptor binding domain (RBD) of the SARS-CoV spike (S) protein that can induce potent neutralizing antibody response and protection against SARS-CoV infection. Our objective is to develop a highly effective and safe recombinant RBD-based SARS vaccine that can be used in humans for prevention of future SARS outbreak and for biodefense preparedness.
Once again, as I’ve shown on previous posts and cited the article, the body’s own immune system is the best treatment. If someone is given Interferon a, an immune system cell response, for example, it prompts the body to make Viperin, which is a cure for most of the diseases the NIH is funding all over the world to cure.
The HHS created a framework and recommendation of gain of function research and the process that should take place if it was being considered to be funded. It appears that Francis Collins, finding the HHS Director in absence, picked this up and rolled with it. I guess you can’t blame an empty office Chair, but you can shift the blame to the recommendation if no one realizes the office was vacant at the time the decision was made to resume it in light of the ban. Peter Hotez’s work never stopped. It was funded up until 2017 when the ban was lifted by Francis Collins. His work in a biodefense capacity continued on with clearance. Of those HHS recommended to be the oversight of ongoing gain of function and to sign off on or permit were the office of Science Technology Policy, the Department of Defense, Department of Justice, Agriculture, Homeland Security, and the FBI. HHS P3CO Framework was done in concert with the National Security Council and NSABB.
The reason Dr. Fauci was so adamant about covid being a wild-type pathogen instead of a lab created one, is that then, the rules of accountability wouldn’t apply.
These rogue elements of our government that are paid by taxpayers have caused the greatest fiasco to ever be written on paper. They continue their work, Congressionally funded with billions of dollars, and act like they’ve done nothing wrong.
